• May Newsletter - Kansa Wands

Hi everyone and welcome to my newsletter if you’re new and thanks for returning if you are not.

I am going to talk a little more about the new products that I introduced last month as well as reveal another two new treatments.

Firstly the new oils which are organic are by a company called Oshadhi. 'Oshadhi' is a Sanskrit word, meaning 'healing plant'. The roots of the word literally mean 'carrier of light'; so the ancient people saw the healing plants as conveyors and transformers of the energy of the sun for the benefit of mankind.

The Vedic culture of India possessed massive knowledge of aromatic plants and essential oils. In those times, great sages, skilled in the art of healing, gave the realm of healing plants the name 'Oshadhi' - bestower of light's energy.

Oshadhi uses the regenerative power of plant oils in their natural, unadulterated form. The products stand for uncompromising purity, diversity and quality. The magic of Oshadhi essential oils - their outstanding therapeutic efficiency and depth of fragrance - stems of course from the plants themselves. The supplier ensures that each product contains the intelligence and healing power of the plant in its purest form. The oils are bottled without coming into contact with high energy electromagnetic fields, because this disturbs their subtle energy, and they play music to them all night. Everything is done to ensure that they the oils remain in their optimal therapeutic condition.

The playing of music to the oils might sound a bit farfetched to you, but as a therapist who works with sound I know the energy of anything can be changed with the right sound.

I hope you notice the difference in your treatments with the use of these powerhouse oils.

The skincare used in the organic facial I released last month is also from Oshadhi. The products are equally sublime, all containing plants, oils and waters from the same source.

    Kansa wands

    What is Kansa?

THE "HEALING BRONZE METAL" OF ANCIENT INDIA

Kansa metal was first made in the Bronze Age approximately 5000 years ago, by the same people that developed the practices and principles of Ayurveda.

The sacred metal alloy, Kansa, is made up the highest quality metal consisting of copper and tin (with minute traces of zinc) which is 99.96% pure and does not contain any nickel or lead.

This ancient blend of metals is known in Ayurveda as the "Healing metal". Kansa was made into many healing implements, and said to be one of the most unique alloys known to human kind. It has been used for centuries in India to enhance health and strength, increase energy, and support general well-being and longevity.

The healing ability of drinking and eating in Bronze vessels has been documented in both Ancient medicines and alternative medicines in recent times.

In the western world Kansa is more widely known as "Bell metal" and is used for making Bells. They use this particular metal because of the soothing sound it makes.

Kansa massagers are now fitted with a Rosewood handle for ease of use.

The healing properties of the metal arise from massage using the wands and eating and drinking from Kansa dining ware. This has been documented in Ancient medicines as well as alternative medicines in recent times. Kansa massage has been practiced in India for centuries following the tried and trusted Ayurveda tradition.

For many years Kansa cups (as they were known then, before they had a handle) were used to massage to promote health and well-being. Children's feet were massaged before bedtime to promote sleep, reduce stress and balance their energy levels.

Ayurvedic Physicians often gave the family of their patients a Kansa cup to massage the patient at home.

As soon as you experience the massage wand on your face, foot or body you will instantly feel more relaxed.

They will help relieve stress levels, promote a better health and well-being to all and provide a more restful sleep.

The benefits of massaging with Kansa Massage wands include:

    • Improved blood and lymph circulation

    • Enhanced lower limb mobility

    • Restores levels of Prana (energy)

    • Promotes sound sleep

    • Relieves eye strain

    • Relaxes tired feet

    • Improves digestion and gastric problems

    • Kansa contains no nickel or lead only pure Bronze 99.96%

Other benefits of Kansa Wand Face Massage:

    • Revitalizes face, shoulder, and neck muscles

    • Gently lifts facial skin

    • Reduces face pain, head pain and tension

    • Reduces acidity

    • Detoxifying

    • Unifies body, mind and spirit

WHY DOES THE SKIN TURN GREY WHEN USING THE KANSA MASSAGER?

Kansa or Ancient Bronze (copper plus tin with a trace of zinc) is a very sensitive metal. Kansa is a very effective transmitter of electromagnetism and reacts positively when acidity is present. This is a very beneficial part of its use on the skin..

The PRIMARY REASON for the greying effect is ACIDITY. The acidity reacts with the metal and creates a grey colour to the skin. When this happens, it is a positive action, and you are eliminating excess acid/toxins. Copper increases energy and tin removes any excess.

The greyness doesn't occur with everyone and may only happen once in a while, it depends on your health levels, how hard your skin has been working and how the environment has affected it.

Thanks to Haley the only UK supplier for allowing me to copy and paste the above information. https://www.kansawands.co.uk I was lucky enough to meet her and work with her on a training course we had both booked on in February. We swap many self treatment stories.....

Warmed Ghee (clarified butter) or organic sesame oil is used on the feet to aid the movement of the wand and to increase the detox benefits.

So this month I am introducing the Kansa wand facial and Kansa wand Reflexology.

    Kansa Reflexology

The treatment is wonderfully relaxing and helps to balance body, mind and spirit. It begins by cleansing the feet with charcoal to start the deep cleansing effect. Then, slowly and methodically the entire feet and lower legs (toes, feet, ankles, calves) are encouraged to relax through the application of massage techniques carried out with the aid of coconut oil, ghee (clarified butter) or sesame oil. The treatment is performed with a Kansa wand which contains 3 metals copper, zinc and tin. Copper is thought to help in reducing pain and inflammation, zinc is thought to help in proper functioning of the digestive and immune systems while tin is believed to be helpful in digestion, relieving headaches and insomnia. Reflexology using warmed rose quartz wands continues the treatment focusing on the main energy points, these points may help to relieve certain conditions around the body and free the energy flow. The whole treatment is approx 1 hour 20 minutes £48 (introduced this month at £42)

    Kansa Organic Facial

A beautiful healing treatment using only pure organic oils and plant extracts combined with massage using a Kansa wand made from pure Bronze, which includes the metals Copper, Tin and a trace amounts of Zinc. They have been used for many years with some fantastic health and wellness benefits. The skin becomes more hydrated, toned and you may see an improvement on fine lines. The treatment helps to reduce stress and provides a gentle face-lifting therapy. The Kansa wand provides gentle friction to facial muscles that helps draw acidity from the tissues. The whole treatment includes a scalp massage too and is approx 1 hour 10 minutes £45 (introduced this month at £40)

Also on special offer this month.

    All things Ayurvedic

    Indian Head massage £35

    Indian champissage Facial £39
